With Jerome Kiesewetter signing, is Inter Miami CF piling up strikers?

After the super promising Carranza, the recruiting of another striker is surprising. Especially after the strong rumors linking Cavani and Suarez for this summer. How many strikers will the club have? Let’s present Kiesewetter

Born in Germany, Kiesewetter started his pro career with German club VfB Stuttgart in 2012, and stayed there until the winter transfer window of 2014, when he was loaned out to Herta Berlin until the end of the season. In March 2015, Kiesewetter finally made his Bundeliga debut for VfB Stuttgart against his old club of Herta Berlin. In June 2016, he moved to Fortuna Dusseldorf for two years. In April 2019, Kiesewetter signed for El Paso Locomotive FC, of the USL Championship. He is now an Inter Miami CF player.

He played twice for the US national team, and his stats doesn’t compare with major strikers, as he scored a mere 33 goals in almost 200 games! But it is known that a striker gets better approaching the thrirties, and he is 26, so plenty of margin to progress. We have also seen some very good moves made so far by the recruiting team of IMCF, so we tend to trust them here. Hopefully he will score many goals now that he is in a big club!
