The co-president of the future MLS franchise, Inter Miami CF, showed a new stunning video of his future 26,000-seat stadium, which will be inaugurated in 2022. The total cost of the work is estimated at nearly one billion dollars.
“This is our future.” It is with this tagline that former international football star David Beckham has posted a video on his Instagram account, presenting the future stage of his franchise, Inter Miami CF, of which he is a major shareholder.
In addition to the stadium, which will accommodate 26,000 spectators, there will be a huge commercial area but also several giant screens located on the edge of this jewel, which forms the wings of a heron, the bird chosen to appear on the club logo. The project should cost a tidy sum of 980 million dollars.
Since the stadium will see the light of day in 2022, the franchise will evolve in MLS from 2020 and play its home games at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, for two seasons. Meanwhile, David Beckham continues his efforts to build a competitive team and is even trying to enlist the Citizen David Silva.
